Enter the information for the user as you would like them placed in the phone system. Please note that names can be changed, but extension numbers cannot be changed after they are created. Also, refer to the Reserved Number Space document for restrictions on certain numbers than cannot be used.

Tips:

Extension numbers should be 3 or 4 digits
Use the first digit of the extension number to indicate location or department. I.e. 1xx for New York and 2xx for California
Be careful not to conflict with any system features like 411 and 911.
